Orvieto DOC Wine

This wine produced mainly in Orvieto and the surrounding area obtained the DOC classification in 1971, and today is one of the best known in the region, and one of the most appreciated national white wines in the world. A wine made from the Trebbiano, Procanico and Grechetto grapes. The denomination of controlled origin ” Orvieto” also includes a “sub-area” Orvieto Classico reserved for white wines in the following types: dry, medium-sweet, sweet, superior, late harvest and muffa nobile.

Rosso Orvietano DOC – A red wine whose denomination of controlled origin is more recent than white, given to it in 1998. It is a red wine that can be combined with different types of dishes and is produces in the territory of Orvieto. It is obtained in different types from the following Cabernet, Cabernet franc, Cabernet sauvignon, Canaiolo, Ciliegiolo, Merlot, Pinot Nero, Sangiovese, Aleatico grapes.
