Located in the village of Parrano in the rooms below the elementary schools, the local museum is divided into four sections and offers a synthesis of the history of the territory from the most ancient origins to the modern age with particular focus on the geology and archeology of the natural cavities of the Tane del Diavolo (located just outside the town). In addition to prehistoric and fossil finds, which testify to the human presence since the Upper Paleolithic (20,000 years BC), some objects from the rich trousseau found in the archaic age tomb (VI-V century BC) in Podere Soriano (Parrano) are also on display. A section is dedicated to medieval history and the modern age, through archive documents and photographs.
Upon reservation it is possible to visit (with the guidance of expert speleologists) the Tane del Diavolo, the complex of caves and ravines carved by the thermal water of the Bagno Minerale stream.
