A tour that follows some of the stages along the Via Romea Germanica in Umbria. This part includes territories and communes of the Orvieto area on roads and scenic trails rich in charm, passable on foot or by bicycle.

This part of the route from North to South passes through the slope of Val di Chiana passing through Fabro and the picturesque village of Carnaiola towards small hamlets where small churches and abbeys meet.

Another municipality on the route is Ficulle, the clay village surrounded by splendid vineyards, among which stands the Castello della Sala of the Antinori family.

From Ficulle you go down again passing in the lands of the municipality of Allerona, Allerona Scalo and the town of Bardano, a place defined by some as the exact center of Italy, and from which you can already admire the majestic profile of the cliff of Orvieto.

The end of the journey culminates with the uphill arrival at the gates of Orvieto a city rich in art, history, and food and wine, with almost 3,000 years of history. A city gathered in one of the most beautiful historic centers of Italy where masterpieces of art, archaeological sites, craft shops and typical trattorias are concentrated.
